If I were to ask how many of us are excited to get rid of 2020, there would be millions of hands up. It has been a tough and overwhelming year for many of us. A year of reflection as well as pain. A year of finding your own strength or just laying it all down in God's hands.
First, I want to lift a prayer of peace to those who have lost a loved one during this time. Next, I want to send a lot of strength to all of our healthcare workers fighting on the front lines during this pandemic. Then, I want to shout out to all the students and teachers who had to be confronted with so many changes in their education and planning. Also, as a mother of three Marines, I want to make sure we keep our military in our prayers and hearts. We are all in this together.
I read this article from Shape and I'm hoping that this new year will bring many moments of self-care to you all. If you are into resolutions, I hope self-care will be your top priority! You Matter!
