If you are running a business or organization, it is vital to network. Networking is great to create relationships, expand your business, and get noticed.
Here are three ways to make time for networking.
Make a list of network events and prioritize which ones you should attend. Note: you do not have to attend every networking event.
Build the events into your existing schedule. If you have lunch at noon then use that time to call your contacts and network. Or maybe have a happy hour at dinner time with your clients.
Follow up. Make sure you create a quick email to follow up with those you have met during the networking event. This helps broaden your network.
Cheers to successful networking events.
